The Beauty Changes Lives scholarship portfolio includes tuition scholarships for aspiring hairstylists, nail professionals, estheticians, makeup artists, massage therapists and barbers. The Joe Francis Haircare Scholarship Foundation was established in 1994 by his wife of 39 years, Flo Francis, and the many people whom Joe Francis advised and mentored to their own success in the industry. Give Back helps students who need guidance to determine what their future goals are, students who face significant financial challenges and those who have experienced barriers to success such as foster care, homelessness, or the incarceration of a parent. We are empowering students to build resilience, overcome adversity, and find pathways to become self-reliant adults and leaders of their communities. Students participate in programming and receive coaching (mentoring) starting in 7th grade and beyond to prepare them for an education and a career. students must be enrolled in Giveback prior to graduating high school. We help students explore different career opportunities and get hands-on experience while in school. We assist students with applying for and understanding their financial options for their next level of education.
